How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
There are no staff profiles here, and that is on purpose. Townskeeping Restoration is a referral service. You talk to us first, only to share what happened. Then your request goes to an independent provider in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The provider is the one who visits your home, gives a quote and does the work.
What happens on the call
It is short and calm. Expect questions like these:
- What kind of water is it, such as a burst pipe, rain or snowmelt?
- Where is it, and how much is there?
- When did it start?
- Is anyone safe and out of harm's way?
Then your request is routed to a provider. Availability varies, so Request a callback to check provider availability for your address.
What to ask a provider
A good provider will not mind questions. Here are some to try, and what a good answer sounds like.
- Can you give me a written quote? A good answer is yes, after seeing the damage.
- How will you dry the structure? Look for talk of water extraction, fans, dehumidifiers and checking moisture levels.
- Will you help document the damage? Many providers can help with photos and notes for a claim.
- Who will be at my home? They should be able to tell you.
Be careful if someone will not put things in writing, pushes you to sign right away, or asks for a large payment up front with no details.
You are in control
Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can ask for more than one estimate. You can say no. You can take time to read the quote. A good provider will respect that.
